My hardware: Vista on an HP Pavilion dv973us Notebook PC and a Sony cybershot camera that takes up to 10 minutes of video at a time.
My goal: to film dance classes, burn them onto DVDs so other students can use them for practice.
Problems thus far: On a -R imation DVD with the Roxio program I burned the DVD. It would play on my computer, not on my TV DVD player. Some of the students could get their copy to play and some couldn't, so another owner of a Vista computer made more copies for those who could not use mine.
On a TDL DVD-RW USING Windows DVD Maker I burned a DVD and gave it to the other person with the Vista system to make the copies. The DVD would play on his computer and TV, but he could not copy it as his system told him it was a protected version.
How can I solve this problem and be able to burn DVDs others can use? Thank you, Dee Wetzel, (623) 826-1596
