Prerequisites:

• iPhones must be updated to the most current version of iOS (Apple's Operating System) at the time of class – join Tech Help Tuesdays in person or on Zoom to upgrade if needed prior to the Class. There will be no support for previous versions.
• Know your Apple ID and Password.
• iPhone CAMERA App Class should be taken FIRST or have comparable experience with ALL Camera App options and modes because this class is a continuation of iPhone Camera Class.
• Must have minimal skills with iPad/iPhone.
• Need iPhone 10 or newer.
• Ability to join a Zoom meeting (tutorials available online at Grand Computers Club) preferably with PC or MAC to view the tutorial on a separate device. Have iPhone nearby for hands on practice on your own device.
• Have a PC or MAC or additional device to view Zoom class and iPad or iPhone to practice steps to understand Photo app and complete the exercises.

Materials: Need devices to view Zoom class and iPad or iPhone to practice.

Objectives:

1. Learn how to edit using more complex editing options like Filters, Light (Brilliance, Exposure, Highlights, Shadows, Brightness, Contrast, Black Point), Color (Saturation, Vibrance, Warmth, Tint), Sharpness, Definition, Noise Reduction, Vignette, etc.
2. Learn to navigate in the redesigned Photo App in order to perform such tasks as: search and find pictures you have taken in the Camera app using various options: people, places, dates, moments, collections, years, combined categories, groups, and more.
3. Create/delete/share an album as well as add/delete a picture(s) to/in the album. The class will be hands-on from editing to saving/sending the picture using various options such as air drop, email, text messages, social media apps and more.
4. Learn how to create a slideshow and video of your photos.
5. Use social media to load photos to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and more.

Description:

This course will teach the student how to edit pictures they have taken in the Camera App using the touch screen controls. The class will be hands-on from learning how to edit, save, and send photos to social media, email, messages and through Air Drop function of the device. Each step will be demonstrated and then the student will complete the same action on their device.

Skills taught in class include: Learning the Editing Modes and Navigating through the newly redesigned Menus of IOS14.1 of the Photo App.
