• The student should have :
• o A proficiency with mouse, e.g., placing cursor, dragging, clicking, double clicking.
• o PC knowledge, e.g., scroll, dropdown menu, tab, alt, ctrl, resizing, toolbar.
• o Basic editing knowledge: e.g., backspace, delete, highlight, insert, clipboard, cut, copy, paste.
• o Basic Internet skills.

Objectives:

2. o Be provided an Overview of all the Google search apps available
3. o Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of how you search the World Wide Web.
4. o Explore the host of advanced features within the Google search engine that many users are currently not using.
5. o Provide the opportunity to practice these advanced search techniques with hands-on examples.

Description:

This course goes beyond the simple Google search app that many Internet users already performed. It illustrates the advanced options and features associated with searching the Web, (I.E. Google Maps, Images, Groups, Language and Books). It also points out when and where to use the Advanced Search Features
