Elements Organizer 7a Find, Import Pictures (Class 7a)

Prerequisites:

• Photoshop Elements version 18 or a more recent version.
• For the recent version of Photoshop Elements, you can download a free 30-day trial version of the latest version from Adobe.
• Proficiency with Zoom app (tutorial available online at Grand Computers Club Website – login to GCC website, Click Education tab>Zoom Features you should know for Online Classes< or come to Tech Help on Tuesday’s from 12:30 p.m. till 2:30 p.m.
• Ability to set up Split Screen mode (tutorial available online at Grand Computers Club Website – login to GCC website, Click Education tab>Zoom Features you should know for Online Classes).
• Basic Computer knowledge including: Open or download image files from your computer, phone, Email, or an online service such as OneDrive, Dropbox, etc.
• Grand Computers Tech Help is a great resource if you need assistance.

Materials: 20 photos or so of your photos to use in Organizer.

Objectives:

1. Import images into Organizer.
2. Discover the capabilities of Organizer to help you be more effective with your various types of media (photos, videos, and audio files).
3. Set up your Organizer to stay up-to-date.
4. Create a backup scheme for your files.

Description:

Can you find all your best photos when you want them?

Take photos, video, or audio files from multiple places and organize them into a clearly defined library. We will discuss how you plan to use your photos and how to structure Organizer most effectively for your needs. You will then be able to quickly and easily find all your “stuff.”

The class will be taught in 2022 version, but you don’t need to upgrade if you have 18 or a more recent version of Photoshop Elements.

A selection (20 photos or so) of your photos to use in Organizer. We will have some photos available if you need them.
