• Proficiency with Zoom app (tutorial available online at Grand Computers . Login to GCC website, Click Education tab-Zoom Features you should know for Online Classes)
• Basic Computer skills
• Basic Elements skills

Materials: Ten of your own photos that you can add text to.

Objectives:

1. Learn more about fonts, font pairing and word art.
2. Find and download free fonts.
3. Install new fonts on your computer.
4. Learn how to find and use a third-party font manager.
5. Learn how to turn your own handwriting into a font.
6. Add text to your own images and create a title page.

Description:

This is an intermediate/advanced class designed to expose you to the joy of using more complex fonts, text, and word art to enhance your photo projects.

This class is a Zoom only class. You will use your personal computer. You must have Photoshop Elements Version 2018-2022 installed on your personal computer.

You can download a free 30-day trial version of the latest version for Mac or PC from Adobe.com

Please identify 10 of your own photos to work on prior to class or you may use photos provided in class.
